IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Originally as an inmate from the end of 2x03, Proof of Purchase; the bomb at the base of his skull went off one second earlier and killed him. After graduating, he's back post-series as a warden.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Shorthand: Alec is Ben's canonical genetic clone. He is 31 years old, 5'11", in top physical condition but not bulky. He wears his dark, dark blond hair cut shortish, has brown eyes, and handsome, boyish features. He likes to dress like he just walked out of Old Navy given his preference, and has a generally laid back and easygoing demeanor, although he can flip the switch to military starch on a whim. There is what appears to be a tattooed barcode on the back of his neck, and he has an inch-long tattoo of the word Impossible in handwritten text between the fourth and fifth ribs on his left side. He wears a simple bronzed wedding band. (Scars: one just below his ribcage that is clearly an old bullet scar, small but messy, and a ragged line in the gentle depression just behind his right collarbone; plus the harpy scratches down his chest and shoulder)
•DEMEANOR: Alec is literally named for his "smart alec" tendencies, and that pretty much tells you all you need to know about him. He likes to appear relaxed and easygoing, always quick to laugh - often inappropriately - and with a sarcastic wit. He is easy to engage with, confident, and will probably flirt with you and, given a chance, will as likely follow through on that. This will be true 90% of the time. The other 10% he is either broody and snappish, preferring to be left alone and willing to enforce that, or as stated before perfectly capable of pulling out the tried and true soldier in him when it becomes necessary.
•ABILITIES: Alec has been trained literally from birth in military tactics, hand-to-hand combat, weapons handling, field medicine, and technology. He retains this knowledge even with his inherent transgenic abilities (enhanced speed, strength, durability, endurance, agility, senses, and healing/metabolism) suppressed. He is canonically able to play at concert piano levels, and enjoyed a short but successful career as a bare-knuckled boxer. I am going to go ahead and list his charisma here too, because that is totally an ability if his obnoxiousness doesn't cancel it out. He will lie.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Alec has had his serotonin deficiency repaired by Manticore, so he is no longer susceptible to the seizure flaw that has plagued and, in a few cases, still plagues his contemporaries. Also all transgenics - including Alec - have been designed to withstand most radiation, poisons, and biological warfare agents in addition to being actively inoculated against them in their home world. This does leave him with a higher than average metabolism, though. Also a higher core temperature than humans, for whatever that's worth. He, like all transgenics, is especially susceptible to electricity.
•CABIN INFORMATION:Alec's door is a sturdy, simple metal one with no window, and a scratched out serial number on the corridor side of it, originally in black spray paint; inside is a cement floor and cinderblock walls, with a fold down bunk attached to one side. There's a reason it looks like a cell. Alec's door now has a biometric security lock on it among other less obvious security measures, but appears to be frosted glass and hand carved wood (it is neither of these things, although it is both bulletproof and soundproof; his neighbors are welcome). The interior is one big room except for the bathroom and has one entire wall of windows looking out over a very city view, a large luxury bed against one wall, an upscale kitchen with an island against another, and an entertainment area including ridiculously large television, multiple gaming systems, stereo system, and fireplace on the last one. The lights are fancy and they dim to several settings, and the glass also adjusts between opaque and clear and everything in between. The floor is thick, expensive carpet everywhere but the kitchen and bath and there is an open space for Alec's more physical pursuits included and a parking alcove for his motorcycle. The bathroom has a multilevel bathtub as well as a carved stone shower (with massaging showerhead and waterfall feature). His closet is large but set seamlessly into the wall, as are several hiding places for weapons all around the room in both obvious and not so obvious places. The color scheme is cream, black, and dark blue. Basically, if he's not actually going to have to pay rent here, he figures he might as well go all out.
